trickshot this is epic collab with me :(

i do think the drums are a bit weak in parts but thats stylistic, maybe just not my thing but i think because you use a clap as a hi-hat type perc sometimes it devalues the snare a bit and makes it feel weaker. still awesome.

TrickshotMusic responds:

you never wanna collab :GUN:

No Kirin don't do drugs D: they are bad for you

Nice track, very atmospheric. Witcher 3 vibes to be honest - that's a good thing.

Really good. I have some issues with the way the timpani interact with the rest of the instruments, especially in the first few measures. It seems like you've cleared out the orchestration for them to come through, which isn't absolutely necessary, and in my opinion doesn't sound good here. It would be appropriate, I think, to just cut violas/cellos and other bassey voices while the timpani play.
Also, the mixing is a tad off. I can't offer specifics because I also can't mix.

DanJohansen responds:

I'll be the first to admit that I don't always follow the rules of orchestra when I use orchestra, I do things the way I like it, so I kind of expect some to not 100% like the way I mix certain instruments. Glad you enjoyed it though, appreciate your time! :D

I think the bass is a bit loud and noticable overall, and the drums are WAY to quiet. Really nice tune tho.

XLRSTONE responds:

Agreed! Thanks for the tip!

the intro is so nice! how do you make those bells?
idk if the vocals are my cup of tea, but eh

Inunoshiri responds:

i don't know what to say bout the bells but yea the vocals r shitty

not bad. i like how the melody is all wandery or smth idk

"This track is about a girl, who had has a tragic life. During her childhood, her father was killed by a group of five. Her mother drove her to a far village. As time goes by, the girl knew that it was her uncle who had been owing to the people who killed her father, he lied to them about the place where he was living. Eventually, the girl killed her uncle with a kitchen knife. Since then, the flowing of blood began. She found the place of the people who had killed her father and strike them down one by one. She started to get used to killing. The story goes on until over a decade later. She had a crush on a boy. The boy was shot by another person. Her heart was almost broken. She had somehow entered a fantasy world where she can meet the boy who she had a crush on. She swore to herself not to let him die again."

actually its a dubstep song

Often, the snare is completely drowned out by all the other elements, resulting in a weak beat.

JinZ responds:

just until the instrumental version came, that'd be called an ordinary track.
for now, with the context of the acapella, there's a story behind it.
but, I'm not sure who is the creator of that story.
HECK, I don't even know whether she existed in the first place or no.
But, throughout this third quadrilogy, I do think that there's a somewhat connection between them.

actually it does not.

Drum and bass (also written as "drum 'n' bass"; commonly abbreviated as "D&B", "DnB" or "D'n'B") is a genre of electronic music characterised by fast breakbeats (typically 165-185 beats per minute[3]) with heavy bass and sub-bass lines,[4] sampled sources, and synthesizers. The music grew out of breakbeat hardcore (and its derivatives of darkcore, and jungle).[5] The popularity of drum and bass at its commercial peak ran parallel to several other homegrown dance styles. A major influence was the original Jamaican dub and reggae sound that came into London in the 1980s. By the 1990s, this had grown into the jungle/drum and bass sound which the UK is famous for.[according to whom?] Another feature of the style is the complex syncopation of the drum tracks' breakbeat.[6]

Drum and bass subgenres include breakcore, ragga jungle, hardstep, darkstep, techstep, neurofunk, ambient drum and bass, liquid funk (a.k.a liquid drum and bass), jump up, drumfunk, funkstep, sambass, and drill 'n' bass. From its roots in the United Kingdom, the style has established itself around the world. Drum and bass has influenced many other genres like hip hop, big beat, dubstep, house, trip hop, ambient music, techno, jazz, rock and pop. Drum and bass is dominated by a relatively small group of record labels. Major international music labels had shown very little interest in the drum and bass scene until BMG Rights Management acquired RAM in February 2016.[7] Since then, the genre has seen a significant growth in exposure. It has developed satellite scenes all around the world, with countries like Austria, Russia, Canada, Estonia, Czech Republic and the Netherlands and it is reasonably popular in New Zealand having a wide variety of D&B artists with large drum and bass festivals.
