This is good. Great. Amazing.

But I can't forgive you for using logic. Never logic.
Ableton, Ok, Fl is the best, but Logic?
xD

FateModified responds:

Thanks! I have a Mac and have used Logic Pro X for several years now, and I think it's pretty awesome. I originally wanted FL Studio, but it was not available for Mac.

This is good, but the drop feels like it has too much verb on it. That's all though.

ActualElf responds:

Thanks bud! I had a specific feel in mind, dark alleys and dingy clubs in my mind whilst making this track, so I took it in that direction and it's what led me to making a lot of distant sounds in the background. Cheers for your feedback, it's always taken on-board <3

Meh. You made it a year ago, you've improved a lot.
Actually, considering this was a year ago, this is pretty good.

PTB10 responds:

yeah, it's not great - more of a filler due to exams and all that. I'll try to get some new stuff out as soon as possible!

There we go :). This is tasty. The snare is odd, but it sounds good overall. The bass sounds excellent. The build is good.

However, the drop doesn't feel... Dropish? It is super similar to the other parts, it doesn't feel special.
Overall, though this is really good.

Delerium responds:

i got a lot of complaints that the drop was empty haha

thanks for the advice though :)

This feels like a good song to me... But its also... Random?

The wandering around feeling is weird, though it is experimental, there is a limit on how far the song can wander before it sounds bad. I learned that too XD. The cymatics is strong with you.

Do you use FL or Ableton or neither?

Delerium responds:

Actually the snares are from a personal pack i got from a friend. not cymatics haha. although they sound familiar. i use fl.

i feel that experimental is whatever you make it to be ;)

I like where this is going, but I've noticed a couple things. The snare is (obviously cymatics lol) and is out of place. The mix is side-chained around...nothing? The build was actually REALLY GOOD, but the drop felt packed full of sounds, like the white noise in the back. This is good, but overpacked.

Delerium responds:

thanks man, i'll take that advice for the future.

I think you have a good idea in your head and are musically talented. I think you also need to refine your techniques.

You have a good idea like I said, but it is watered down with the poor mixing. That kick drums should be LOUD and that bass should be LOUD BUT NOT AS LOUD XD. The piano feels out of place in the drop, and the bass could use work.

You've got ideas. Good work overall.

Aphyllix responds:

Thanks for the feedback, but yeah, I see what you mean. In fact, I never though to much about the mixing, aside from adding things to make some of the sound fit. Definiantly need to try more with mixing though. Thanks though. :)

I can really feel the area! This is so musically amazing!

Yeah, this is pretty good. Heads up: you have to state the art you based it on.
Do you use FL?

FractureClutter responds:

Thank you for review. I left art on submission thread. And yes, I use FLstudio.

Whoa, the beginning tho.
I'd say this is perfect, but the beginning feels a bit too packed, and repetitive.
The riser is 100% on the dot.
The drop is also 100% on the dot. Nice!

Hippokopter responds:

Idk how I made that intro lol. I just cobbled together some random samples and fx and viola, but somehow it's good I guess.

he/him or they/them idc
