The sounds fit except for the guitar IMO. Good job on the snare roll!

X3LL3N responds:

I wasn't able to find a guitar preset I liked, from what i had, this one was the best :)
Thanks for your review !

these are some really cool FX !!!

FelixZophar responds:

Thanks dude!

The chords at the beginning are pretty neat :P
It's very interesting how it transitions from melodic to dubstep too.

Personally, I think the snare could pop more.

RyanBlaneyOfficial responds:

Yeah i think i messed up on the master. There is too much of an attack on the drums.

I don't really know if feedback on sound design would be useful to you since your on a limited computer, so I have some stylistic feedback.

At 00:3. 00:6, 00:9, and 00:12, the pause between chords is very empty.

The bass at 00:15 is too loud IMO
At00:33 some stuff drops out that feels essential, leaving you with a shell of quiet riddim.
The drop is repetitive, but its riddim so whatever xD

I like 1:24 a lot.
The second drop is still good, but honestly, the pauses don't help and it needs some new elements.

So that concludes my essay! XD

Hippokopter responds:

Actually about the sound design, it's the stupidest thing. You know how you can have a sample rate that you use while you work on a project but you can export stuff at a different and better sample rate? Well that's what I tried to do, but because the main bass had so much distortion on it, it sounded different, since distortion sounds different with different sample rates, higher sample rates causing it to lose some of the higher crunchy artifacts. But, I didn't want to export it at a lower quality because then the mp3 would sound like crap, so I tried to find a good sample rate that would preserve the tone decently, but make it so that the mp3 didn't sound so crappy.

And you thought you wrote essays! xD

Woah.

Xtrullor-y.

TheMajician responds:

Not intentionally but ill take that comparison any day!

Some cool grunge. Here.

Recommendations:
At 0:05 the clap feels really weird. It's just an odd sample choice, could be fixed by adding reverb.

Other than that, it's really good.

X3LL3N responds:

True, I actually felt the same. At least this time it's not clipping xD
I should have done something else with the "Hey" too not gonna lie

Anyway, thanks for the review and advice ! :)

This is really cool!

My only recommendation would be to vary the sound design a little more, there aren't very many interesting things happening in the song's sounds.

JeSa responds:

I'll take it into account, thanks friend

The sample choice in this song is on point.

FelixZophar responds:

Oh, thanks!

Lem Juuja much?

TreePalm responds:

yeah lmao

Are you in a real orchestra?

AvapXia responds:

This song was done using a marimba VST, if that's what you mean.
Though i do have experience as a percussionist in various concert settings.
