Scouted Tridun.

This is good. It feels like an xtruller song.

LOL Snake is a teen and tridun is 22 :)

The dubstep part is so cool!

Nice job!

The only thing I can say is that the sound design is kind of boring. Try adding some weird things to spice it up! Modulate stuff! Put Extra Voices. After that, do some post-processing to add more! Oh, and its a tad repetitive.
Overall really nice.

CryNN responds:

Thank you for this constructive review! I will try to add more details on my songs from now on! :)

This is really good! What happened to the waveform lmao.

Anyway, let me actually talk about it. The song overall is good. The only things that need to be done are to have much better mixing. I.E, that kick is so side-chained that is sounds weird.
Mixing is hard. I'm not particularly good at it. However, the idea is that you have compressors pushing things back, and waveshapers etc. pushing things forward, and volume levels. At the moment, cymatics has a good book on mixing free (pdf). link: https://academy.fm/free-courses/

Another thing: sound design. I get that you don't have serum. That's rough. I've been there. I'd give it to you, but unfortunately, I only have 1 license. As for using the FL plugins, look up sound design tutorials! There are some great ones out there. IF you are thinking of getting serum, here's a link to a rent-to-own copy. https://splice.com/plugins/15493-serum-vst-au-by-xfer-records If you have the cash, it is very much worth it. Dubstep bases become a breeze.

Finally, Mastering. The song is not very well edited. This goes with sound design. A big part of it is the synth, but a good song needs to be mastered well. This consists of distortion, EQing, etc. Don't just put one on for the entire track- use automation!

Now the good things:
The song really painted a picture of Robotica, and this is what music is for. REALLY nice job, that's hard to accomplish.
The song's composition was good. Nothing caught me off guard, but it wasn't generic.
Finally, the ideas. This sounds cheesy, but it really is the thought that counts. Once you have your IDEAS down, then its time to start fine-tuning, and learning new things.

Good.

Thank you for this review :) I'll go in depth of replying to this, but I don't have time right now.

This sounds like a DJ-Nate song but produced by someone with a little less expertise. AKA it's purely amazing.
The melodies are so cool! They sound Asian.

What DAW are you in? (I'm betting its Fl or Ableton)

Ramn0 responds:

FL studio 12. Will switch to FL20 soon.

Also I'm surprised that it sounds like DJ-nate. Definitely not what I was originally going for, but it's neat to see someone connect the dots for me :)

This is good!
I think that that kick in the start of the buildup is a little to side-chainy. Also, the song is very repetitive. The drop is ....Ummm, well if you like it, I'm not going to say anything except that the same problem happens with the kick.

Other than that, the song is good. I would listen to this a lot.

Ramn0 responds:

Was kinda inexperienced with the style at the time. For me, everything decent sounding passed.
Also this doesn't contain any intentional side-chaining ;P

No it doesn't!

FelixZophar responds:

Well, sort of.

You like Roland Juno stage don't you

FelixZophar responds:

Yeah, I got it for my birthday. I've been using it in many of my songs.

Sounds like a loop that would be in a movie credit roll or a platformer game start screen. Nice job.

FelixZophar responds:

I don't think that really. But if it had more of a sad emotional feeling, like in a war movie, or some hero dies in the end, then I think this would be good for the credits.

You like organs don't you.

6clawdy6 responds:

Always have, always will.

lol I hear the FL Studio kick.
Nice job. The bass feels like it takes up too much space, but that's just an opinion.

OfficialObsulity responds:

Thank you.! Actually this has Made on FL Studios mobile, but soon buy a computer for to be a lot better making music!

he/him or they/them idc
